The minibus handover ceremony took place at the Progresso e Lavoro facility, in the presence of educators, children from Il bene che ti voglio, and company representatives. The vehicle will be used for recreational activities held outside the organization’s center.
The event was also an opportunity for a guided tour of the facility. During the visit, the children — accompanied by educators, family members, and company staff — had the chance to admire the carriages of the Orient Express La Dolce Vita train, built entirely in Brindisi. The train combines the luxury and elegance of the past with modern design. It is a project by Arsenale and entrepreneur Paolo Barletta, in collaboration with Orient Express Trenitalia, Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato, Fondazione FS, and FS Treni Turistici Italiani.
“We believe in the value of solidarity and inclusion. With this gesture, we want to support the extraordinary work the association does every day for these children and their families,” said Antonio Spinosa, president of Progresso e Lavoro.
This important and fruitful partnership with the company was emphasized by Stefania Rescio, vice president of the association: “We thank president Antonio Spinosa and everyone at CPL – Progresso e Lavoro,” she said. “This is a praiseworthy initiative not only because of the donation itself: with this nine-seater minibus, we’ll be able to launch the Il bene che ti voglio on the road project, which we’ll inaugurate in the coming days. This way, we can bring autism out of the home and organize recreational and social inclusion activities that put our children at the center.”
