CPL – Coop. Progresso e Lavoro

CPL Progresso e Lavoro was among the protagonists of Telenorba’s traveling tour celebrating the broadcaster’s 50th anniversary: an interview with our CTO, Valerio Spinosa.

Brindisi, May 7, 2026 – CPL Progresso e Lavoro also took part in the traveling tour organized by Telenorba to celebrate the broadcaster’s 50th anniversary, an initiative crossing the provinces of Puglia to share stories, people, and experiences that have contributed to the region’s growth.

During the Brindisi stop, the company’s CTO, Valerio Spinosa, was interviewed by journalist Pamela Spinelli, sharing the journey and values that have defined CPL Progresso e Lavoro for more than fifty years, as well as the company’s strong connection with the local community. He highlighted how the experience built over time has enabled the company to become a benchmark in the railway sector.

This path has been shaped by the contribution of three generations who, over the years, have succeeded one another not only in management roles, but also among technicians and specialized workers.

A heritage of expertise passed down over time which, as Spinosa explained, has helped preserve a strong railway culture: “Fortunately, our young people grew up immersed in the railway world, because both their grandfathers and fathers worked in the railway sector.”

The interview also focused on the partnership launched four years ago with Arsenale Group, thanks to the vision of Paolo Barletta. This collaboration led to the development of the prestigious railway projects La Dolce Vita Orient Express and the upcoming Dream of the Desert.

“It is a project of global significance,” Spinosa said about La Dolce Vita, “and it allowed us to double our infrastructure, introduce new equipment, and increase CPL’s workforce by nearly one third.”

The project also generated significant economic benefits for the Brindisi area: “Brindisi became the operational hub of the La Dolce Vita project, bringing professionals from all over the world to the city. Taxi services, hospitality businesses, and the entire local supply chain all benefited from it.”

For CPL Progresso e Lavoro, participating in Telenorba’s anniversary tour represented an important opportunity to share a business story built on tradition, innovation, and deep roots in the Brindisi area.
