The Organization also promotes the role of the Social Performance Team, tasked with contributing to system monitoring, risk assessment, and continuous improvement. CPL requires its suppliers, contractors, and partners to comply with the principles of this Policy and with applicable social responsibility requirements. The Organization reserves the right to carry out audits, request corrective actions, and adopt appropriate measures in the event of conduct that does not comply with SA8000 principles or applicable legislation. CPL provides confidential channels for reporting any violations of this Policy, SA8000 requirements, the Code of Ethics, or workers’ rights. CPL guarantees the impartial and confidential handling of reports and prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith. Management is committed to periodically reviewing this Policy and the SA8000 Management System in order to ensure their effectiveness, adequacy, and continuous improvement. This Policy is communicated to all personnel, made available to stakeholders, and distributed through company communication channels.
