Environmental sustainability
To reduce our climate footprint, we have prioritized the following strategic
objectives and we have undertaken the following actions:
Planting of trees
Every year we are committed to planting new trees in our plant, creating
new green areas that imply the following benefits:
- reduction of the environmental and acoustic impact of business activities.
- redevelopment of the territory to improve the well-being of the business
community.
- improving the use of outdoorrecreation areasto contribute to the psycho-
physical well-being of workers.
- protection of natural resources to restore the value of the territory.
Supplier awareness
We value as primary the involvement of oursuppliersin our environmental policies. For this reason, we aim to raise awareness through company information and, in compliance with our management system, we give priority inclusion in the register of our suppliers to those who are in possession of environmental certification.
Renewable energy
Sustainability and energy saving are now widespread concepts, which are
part of the daily vocabulary whenever topics related to the environment
and way to produce or use energy respecting the planet and ensuring the
maximum possible efficiency to industrial plants.
Ourshort-term objectives
include the aim to use renewable energy for the total supply of our offices
and our industrial plant.
